ahh... a sad day for the music world indeed. RIP, whitney. you will be missed.
that said, only at an AV200 training spin class the VERY NEXT MORNING will the instructor have been SO dedicated the previous evening (at 3am) to put together a whitney houston tribute for class. oh man... LOVED IT. i really am channeling my inner gay man / diva... no? i will say though, at least i kept it together (unlike wesley) for the greatest love of all finale... ;) j/k boo. i wouldn't call you out like that.
this morning was tough. though i've done some double duty back-to-back spin classes (for the past 4 weeks) something about the cold reallllly didn't "jive with me" so to speak. as in, i really just wanted to stay in bed, and keep massaging my legs. ouchie! a HUGE difference from last week, that's for sure. mother nature decided she wasn't quite ready for spring after all... 70 to 20 + snow flurries in one week? booo.
then again... that bodes well for targhee... IN THREE WEEKS! yikes! i CANNOT wait to see the girls (and adam. and mara's man who i haven't met, but i trust that he'll be able to hang with us). i just hope my quads are ready for all that... i'll just call it "extra training" :)
(side note... just saw it come across my twitter feed... lance armstrong is a beast. 2nd place at panama ironman 70.3 in his pro-triathloning debut? not. ok. WOW.)
so anyway... for my one (maybe two) reader(s)... this weekend's training rides were dedicated to my last two donors... thank you meg & lanny for your support! hope to make you proud in may!!
alright. off to enjoy the deceptively cold (twenty-nine degrees?!?!) yet so happily sunny day!
