new year, old blog

day 2 (or 8) of 2012 and i've already failed on my "resolution" to be better about blogging (re: once a week. at least.) though i feel like it should be doable, especially with my other mission; now that i gifted myself an iphone for my bday/christmas (welcome to the 21st century tina!!), i've decided to partake in the whole "365 project" and take a picture a day... i guess in 2012 it's the 366 project. annnnd, hopefully by taking a picture a day of something that's inspiring, or at the very least, memorable, i will...be better about remembering things. (i have THE worst memory. the WORST, i say. well, maybe second to my brother's. HA.)

i'm still failing on these resolutions. now it's day 8, i haven't posted my first entry, AND i missed a photo op friday (and dropped my new phone on wednesday).  (it gets better? easier? no? that's not what that campaign's about?) 

no one will know if i cheat a LITTLE bit right? just don't check the timestamps. and with no further ado, pictures 1-7 :)

one: happy new year! ringing it in with some mahjong... the chang's are ka-razy, clearly

two: no new year is complete without some "glutinous rice balls" in sugar... something about sticky & good fortune throughout the year...

three: another beautiful day in the (dallas) 'hood... i miss you, house!

four: no trip home to dallas is complete without some shopping.... from the galleria to northpark, we did lots of mall-walking this holiday season

five: the only thing i like about early morning flights are the beautiful sunrises... at the gate at DFW, on my way back to ATL

six: (this is the cheat). i went climbing, but left my phone in the car... however, i DID make this lovely chalk bag for KSL earlier in the week with mom... if i learned anything, it is that i'm a poor embroider-er.

seven: getting back into the swing of things & training for the AV200 (woohooo!) with a 1.5hr spin class... ouch!

alright. sunday afternoon activities from now on? blogging. hopefully. (it helps that it's been rainy and football's on...)

and...like the last picture indicates, i am once again riding the AV200 this year, so be on the look out for some more...injury pics? (hopefully not.) happy 2012, kids. here's to one hell of a year!
